The popular trucking simulator, Euro Truck Simulator 2, will have a new expansion that will introduce the West Balkans region.
SCS Software, the developers behind the game, has not yet revealed the release date for it yet, but players can be rest assured that they will get the new DLC very soon. They have stated that hints were dropped about the new expansion pack during the Easter Egg Hunt Event on their social media, which featured the colors of the West Balkans.
Apparently, the planning of this DLC started over a year ago, and is still a work in progress. SCS Software has claimed they are still in the early stages of development, but the prototyping of specific locations and the 3D model creation is already underway.
Also, they have released a list of countries that players can drive to. Included in the West Balkans DLC will be Bosnia and Herzegovina, Albania, Kosovo, Croatia, Montenegro, Serbia, North Macedonia, and Slovenia. There will be new scenic landscapes to explore and will include many interesting contents for all trucker enthusiasts.
Prior to this, there was supposed to be a Heart of Russia DLC pack, which was halted for an indefinite period. So, having the West Balkans DLC is a welcome change for players.
