Fire Thief Adan is an evergaol prisoner. You can find him by exploring the Malefactor’s Evergaol in Liurnia, close to Liurnia Lake Shore Site of Grace. Adan uses his flail to fight and deals mainly with fire attacks. He is an optional boss, and defeating him will reward you with Runes and Flame of the Fell God. Below are some ways you can defeat him.
- Since Adan is a fire-wielding mage, he will use his spell Flame of the Fell God to cast a destructive ball of fire that will cause AoE and burn everything in its path.
- He will also cast a short burst of fire, which can be noticed by the rune symbol, indicating where the attack will land.
- Adan is adept at using his flail to smash the ground. He can also use it to swing from side to side and also for a spinning attack.
- Most of his attacks have a long animation sequence that will take some time for the effect to happen, giving you ample time to put in a couple of hits.
- Any weapon or spell that can deal bleed damage can finish him off quickly
- When he is done with his combo attacks, use any heavy attack to bring his health down as he will need time to recover
- If you see him trying to take a swig of his health flask, attack him before he can take a sip to stop the healing process.
- He can use a dodge roll to close the gap between you and him, so watch out for that and get out of the way, or else he will pummel you with his flail
- Ranged and spellcasters can keep their distance at all times and take him down quickly
- The only spell you have to look out for is the Catch Flame since this attack is quite quick to cast the short bursts of flame. The damage isn’t much if you are unfortunate enough to get burned by it, but can be avoided by looking at the symbol it forms just before casting. Dodge or run backward to avoid it.
It doesn’t take long to bring him down, and once he is defeated you can reap your rewards.
