Star Wars Jedi: Survivor’s cinematic trailer is out, and along with it the release year. The game is set to release in the year 2023, but nothing else is known about it. Fans will be thrilled to know that the game will continue the missions of Cal Kestis, the last Jedi survivor, as he explores the world five years after what transpired in Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order.
After his knighthood to become a Jedi, Cal has been on a run from the Empire. Following the storyline of the Fallen Order, instead of bringing up the Jedi union, the Empire wishes to stomp it further into the ground and kill or capture every last Jedi, including Cal. Evading the Siths that are pursuing him, Cal must find a way to make it back and set things in order. It is evident from the trailer that he will soon seek help from the mysterious person in the Bacta Tank, but whether he is a friend or foe is still unknown. It is also rumored that Jedi: Survivor takes place in the same timeline as the show Obi-Wan Kenobi, so there can be crossovers between the two if we are lucky.
Five years after the end of Fallen Order, not much has changed, except for the fact that Cal is fighting for his life, as well as trying to hone his skills as the ultimate Jedi Master. Till the game is officially released, there isn’t much else to know about the storyline. But we do know that it will be intriguing enough to keep players on their feet throughout.
