Giant Miranda Flowers are the abnormal versions of the regular smaller Miranda Flowers. The reason why they are so sought after is for the Miranda Powder and Poisonbloom materials that are used for crafting. Taking them down, however, is quite difficult. They have specialized AOE that they will cast upon you that will cause lightning damage. They can also spew a poison mist and physically attack you, slamming themselves onto you. Any weapon or spell that can inflict bleed and fire can help you out here.
To find Giant Miranda Flowers, you can find them at Waypoint Ruins in Limgrave. You can also come across them at Liurina in two different locations, near Stillwater Cave and Church of Vows. There is also the Scarlet Rot version that will inflict bleed damage, and you can find those somewhere in Caelid and Miquella’s Haligtree. If you go near Frenzied Flame Village, you can find a frenzied Giant Miranda Flower.
Upon defeat, they drop Miranda Powder and Poisonbloom. Miranda Powder is one of the materials used to craft Spark Aromatic, while Poisonbloom is needed to craft various weaponry which can inflict poison damage.
