Morel can only be found while foraging around the island. There is no fixed place where it can grow, so you have to look around to find them. One of the more popular spots to forage for Morel is near the Cavern. You can also find other mushroom types here like Shiitake, and also some flowers. You can also forage for Morel in the grasslands of Coral Island. You can find this if you head north from your farm, past the sign for the hot springs. Enter the grassy areas and start foraging for items. There are other grassy areas like the area beside the Lake Temple, besides people’s houses, and along the paths, but not all these areas will guarantee a Morel Mushroom. You can also check the trash bins to get them.
You can identify Morel by its conical light brown body with dark brown spots. Sometimes they are hidden behind other items like clovers, trash, and compost, and upon picking them will unveil the Morel Mushroom. Other times they stick out of the ground and can be seen. If you have space in your inventory, you can pick them up and store them.
