The Slingshot in the Sons of the Forest can be found near the cave between the snowy mountains on the west and the beach on the east. Head to the location following the river as it connects to the coast. The exact location is marked in the image below.
When you arrive near the cave, you will find three dead bodies in a frozen river holding sticks with them. The Slingshot in Sons of the Forest is connected to one of the body’s sides.
Use the E key to interact with the body and pick up the Slingshot. Equip the Slingshot to your hands for use. The stones will be loaded into your hands immediately so you can fire them at your enemies.
When used correctly, the Slingshot is capable of getting rid of smaller creatures, such as birds, fish, squirrels, and rabbits. Killing these animals allows you to get meat that you can cook over a fire to preserve them for future use.
