Where to locate Sovereigns in Sea of Thieves
You can find the Sovereign docks situated at each of the Outposts in the game. There are seven outposts, and each of them has one Sovereign Trading Post. They are a bit further away from your ship’s spawn location, but you cannot miss them. You can identify a Sovereign outpost by the large purple and yellow tent.
Below are all the Sovereign outposts and where they are located equidistant from the Tavern in each outpost.
- Plunder Outpost – Sovereign Clementine – Northeast of the Tavern
- Ancient Spire Outpost – Sovereign Archibald – Northside across the dock
- Dagger Tooth Outpost – Sovereign Juniper – North West of the Tavern
- Morrow’s Peak Outpost – Sovereign Angelica – East of the Tavern
- Galleon’s Grave Outpost – Sovereign Barnaby – Northside while facing Traitor’s Fate Fortress, opposite the dock
- New Golden Sands – Sovereign Margot – Found on the South-West Island
- Sanctuary Outpost – Sovereign Cuthbert – South of the Tavern
How to Use the Sovereigns to Turn In Loot in Sea of Thieves
To sell your goods efficiently, you can go the old-fashioned way and just turn them into the Sovereign NPC. If you have too much loot to carry, then you can use the in-built elevator and harpoon to drag in everything at once. You can find the elevator and harpoon by entering the Sovereigns’ tent and climbing the ladder here. You will locate the elevator and harpoon on the platform, along with a lever for the elevator behind you. You will need to ensure that your ship is docked at the Sovereigns’ dock and not further away to use the harpoon.
The elevator should be up to make this work, so if you find the elevator down, then pull the lever behind you to bring it up. Use the harpoon to drag your treasures onto the elevator, then pull the elevator lever to bring them down. Climb down to the main area to start trading. You can also find the elevator lever at the bottom of the mast behind you on the ground floor.
Should You Use the Sovereigns in the Sea of Thieves?
Using the Sovereigns’ services can save you a lot of time, and trading with them will also help you progress through the Pirate and Ship Milestones. But to trade with them, you have to be a Captain or be part of a Captained crew. Also, you cannot trade in loot for Hunter’s Call or Reaper’s Bones, so if that’s what you are looking for, then it is best to head elsewhere.
