If you want to build a successful city, you need to play ahead. Placing the right buildings is important so that you get the best start possible in the game. There are a few things that you should keep in mind, like resources and where to store them.
Your first priority should be increasing your Water and Wood. In addition to this, keep an eye on Food to ensure that your villagers aren’t starving. To get a constant supply of water, ensure that you have your Town Center close to a natural source of water.
Your town center should also be close to Wood sources, which are trees. After you have harvested a lot of Wood, build a Firewood Splitter. This will help you to convert your Wood into Firewood. Depending on what resources you have nearby, you should focus on getting some Food, which can be a structure of Hunter Cabin, Fishing Shack, or Foraging Shack.
Now that you have your Food, Wood and Water sorted, you are ready to take on bigger challenges.
