Starfield is all set to launch this year, and according to the support page that went live today, the game is set to release “in the first half of 2023.” Starfield’s development was first announced during the E3 Press Conference in 2018, and fans can now anticipate the game to arrive sometime very soon.
It was also confirmed on the official Xbox Twitter page that Starfield will release in 2023, along with Redfall, Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty, and others. Starfield is being developed under Bethesda Game Studios and will be released exclusively for Xbox Series X|S and PC.
This will be the first new universe that Bethesda has worked on in over 25 years, with the other famous titles being the Fallout series and The Elder Scrolls. Todd Howard, the director of Starfield, described the game as “Skyrim in space.” Starfield will be a role-playing game set somewhere beyond the solar system. The player will take on the role of a space explorer and will be sent to retrieve rare artifacts while exploring new planets across the galaxy. It is hailed as one of Bethesda’s biggest and most ambitious projects yet, and fans can take a look at the official gameplay trailers to get a glimpse of what to expect.
