Spies Quest Walkthrough in Oblivion Remastered
Once you destroy the Dagon’s shrine and bring the Mysterium Xarxes to Martin Septim inside the Cloud Ruler Temple, the Spies main quest begins in Oblivion Remastered. He will tell you that he needs some time to decipher the book and you can interact with Jauffre meanwhile about spies lurking around the Cloud Ruler Temple.
Once you reach Jauffre, enquire about the spies and he’ll inform you that there have been sightings of strangers around the temple. He’ll advise you to talk to Steffan as he has more information regarding the ordeal and it can be helpful to find out the spies. Steffan informs you that the spies can be found at the Rune Stone near the temple at dusk, and he’ll ask you to deal with them.
The Beginning
You can reach the Hestra Rune Stone by following the quest marker and wait there till 6 pm for the spies to appear. You’ll find Jearl around the Rune and once she observes you, she’ll instantly attack you. Once you’re over with the fight, search her body for clues and you’ll find her house and basement keys.
You’ll be required to talk to Captain Burd afterwards, the commander of the Bruma Guard. He’ll spill even more intel regarding the spies so fast travel to the Bruma Castle and talk to Captain Burd. He’ll tell you that things have been settled down except for Jearl arriving from the south. Once Burd learns that Jearl was a Mythic Dawn Spy, he’ll send you to search her house for more clues.

Jearl’s House
Head to the southern part of Bruma to find Jearl’s House and once you head inside her place, search for possible clues. However, you won’t find anything useful until you stumble across a small hatch in the ground leading to the basement. Jearl’s Order will be down there giving you all the information about her spy work. Her order will reveal that there are two spies and you can get out of the basement through the hatch or take the door leading to Bruma Caverns.
The Caverns will be quite underwhelming as there is nothing interesting for you except the fact that they lead you outside of Bruma. Once you head back to the Cloud Ruler Temple and talk to Jauffre, inform him about your discovery regarding Jearl’s Orders. You’ll also tell him about the massive attack Mythic Dawn is planning on Bruma. Jauffre will order you to take care of the other spy whose name is Saveri.

Finding Saveri
It can be a daunting task to locate Saveri as there aren’t any leads on her position except for the fact that she’s currently in Bruma. You can ask around for her whereabouts but citizens won’t have much information. You have to search for a beggar, Jorck the Outcast, who can be found standing next to Arnora’s house. Give him a few gold coins and he’ll spill the information about noticing a stranger inside Jearl’s house.
You can head into Jearl’s house directly to look for Saveri, but that will be in vain. However, you’ve to wait till night, preferably between 3 am to 7 am to visit her house. Saveri will be sleeping at that time, which is the best opportunity to approach her otherwise she’ll start attacking you if she notices you. Once you kill Saveri Faram, return back to Jauffre and inform him that Saveri has been taken care of. He’ll thank you and tell you to interact with Martin regarding the decrypted book.
