Fans of Sea of Thieves are coming across players who do not adhere to the Community Code of Conduct of the game, making the gameplay more difficult. If you are finding it hard to deal with players who are hindering your gameplay, here is how you can report them in Sea of Thieves.
How to Report Players in Sea of Thieves
Most multiplayer co-op games have difficult players to deal with who can ruin the game for others, and Sea of Thieves is no exception. If you or someone you know is dealing with toxic players on a day-to-day basis, then you can report them in the game. You can read more below on how to report players in Sea of Thieves.
Usually, online disputes can be disrupted in the game itself, but sometimes it can get a bit much to handle. If you find players who are not adhering to the Community Code of Conduct, you will have to first gather as much evidence as you can about their misbehavior. You will need to supply the evidence, either as images or video recordings. They should be unedited, as editing the image or video will disqualify your claims. You also need to provide the player’s Gamertag and supply a description of the incident to support the claims.
Once you have all your evidence, the only thing that is left is to report it. Scroll down the Sea of Thieves support site, and at the bottom, you will find the words Still Need Help? Click on it, then click on the green button with the words Raise a Support Request. Sign in with your Microsoft Account and choose any of the three options that you will see in the drop-down menu. Remember to select the option that is closest to the incident you wish to report.
Once the report form is generated, attach your evidence and your description and hit submit. If the file size is too large, just send them a link to the video after uploading it on any streaming platform and send them the time stamp of when the offense took place. The Sea of Thieves moderation team will get back to you once they have reviewed your claims.
For Xbox Live, reporting is much easier and faster, as all you need to do is to use the Xbox Console Companion for PC or the Guide for console and go to the People and Friends section. Look through the Recent Players list, find the player, and click Report. You can report both people who are and aren’t in your friends’ list.
