There are several puzzles you will bump into on your journey in the Lands Between, but how you solve them will be crucial to find secret locations and items. To find the Prophecy Painting, you will have to venture into Stormveil Castle, specifically the upper courtyard. There are two ways to get there, one through the Secluded Cell Site of Grace and head left then straight, or through the Liftside Chamber Site of Grace, into the courtyard, down the flight of stairs, and turn right before the ramparts. You can also take the longer route from the main gate and go through the first courtyard into the second. There is a room in the courtyard that also houses an Omen Ogre that you can fight off. Head inside this room and you will spot the Prophecy Painting. Interact with it to get the note in your inventory.
To locate the spot where the picture was painted from, you will have to head into the Weeping Peninsula and head far north towards the cliffs from the Church of Pilgrimage. You can also get there by heading south from the Site of Grace called Bridge of Sacrifice and upon reaching the fork take the route that goes northwest and keep going through the forest till you reach the cliffs. You will have to go towards the northernmost point of the cliff that overlooks Stormveil Castle. You will soon spot the painter’s spirit on the right side, near the edge of the cliff. If you go close, it will disappear and leave behind the Warhawk Spirit Ash.
