Today’s Amazon Prime Day deals seem to prefer AMD’s graphics cards over Nvidia’s offerings. Team Red has almost brought their graphics cards down to MSRP levels making them more interesting options over the RTX 30 series. We are not biased towards any of these video card manufacturers. Thus, we are happy to recommend whichever provides more value to gamers, and it turns out AMD is in a more favorable position as of now.
Graphics cards were out of the common man’s reach even a few months back. However, ever since January 2022, prices have been on a downward trend. Both Nvidia RTX 30 series and AMD RX 6000 series cards have become much more affordable. But, it seems like Nvidia cards are taking a lot of time to hit the magic MSRP numbers they were introduced back in 2020.
What is the Most Value for Money Radeon Cards Available Currently?
The most value-for-money AMD Radeon cards available currently are the Radeon RX 6700 XT and the Radeon RX 6600 XT. The former easily beats the GeForce RTX 3060 Ti almost all of the time. The RX 6600 XT competes with the GeForce RTX 3060 and beats it by a solid margin as well.
However, the most interesting part about these cards is their pricing. The 12GB RX 6700 XT is available for around $450 in the Amazon Prime Day sale. In comparison, the cheapest RTX 3060 Ti is selling for almost $ 500. The RX 6600 XT is also going for around $360 while the cheapest RTX 3060 models cost almost $400.
The RX 6600 also comfortably beats the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050. Thus, it is a very interesting option for 1080p gaming now that it is available for less than $300.
