The Space-Time Distortion Fields are a part of Hisui’s Lore and are also partly the reason why Trainers are transported to the pre-Sinnoh region. Trainers can go in anytime they spot one, but be warned, the Pokémon residing in these warped domes are very powerful and rare and can wipe out your entire team. There are various rare rewards to be found, so if you can make use of your surroundings to dodge these Pokémon, you can get some pretty good stuff, and fill up your Pokedex as well.
Space-Time Distortion Fields appear at random, but you will be notified of their appearance and it will also be marked on your map. You have just 5 minutes to reach the area and enter the Field. It is not hard to miss it, as you can easily spot the large purple dome-like structure in the middle of the area. Also, spawning these Space-Time Distortion Fields will depend on how active you are in the game, such as battling or catching Pokémon, completing Requests, and such.
There are also a few Pokémon that you can only catch inside the Space-Time Distortion Field, and you will have to visit these domes in particular areas to get them. The following are the locations and what Pokémon you can catch.
- Obsidian Fieldlands: Johto Sneasel
- Crimson Mirelands: Porygon
- Cobalt Coastlands: Magnemite
- Coronet Highlands: Shieldon & Cranidos
- Alabaster Icelands: Scizor
There is also a chance for you to get the Hisuian starters in here as well, but there is no particular area that you will have to visit to get them, so the chances are random.
