There are many popular Pokémon from the previous Generations that have made it in Pokémon Legends Arceus, and Scyther is one of them. Originally introduced in Gen 1, this Bug/Flying Pokémon is a fan favorite, and Trainers are looking forward to adding it and its evolutions to their team. In this guide, we will see where to find a Scyther and how to catch it in Pokémon Legends Arceus.
Where to Find and Catch Scyther in Pokémon Legends Arceus
Since Scythers are Bug Pokémon, you will have more luck trying to find them in grassy areas that have a lot of trees. Scythers are found in the GrandTree Arena area, in Obsidian Fieldlands. You can also search around Primeval Grotto of Coronet Highlands. They are not that hard to spot, peeking from behind trees and large grassy areas.

To catch one, you can just sneak up on them and throw your Poke Ball. Be careful, as once they notice you, they will fly away, and you will have to try again. If you have successfully snuck up behind them, toss your Poke Ball to catch them. If you miss, you can try again, or battle them to weaken and capture them.
Getting this classic Gen 1 Pokémon in the Hisui region will be a great addition to your team, as you can evolve a Scyther into a Kleavor using the Black Augurite. Black Augurite can be gotten from random drops from fallen Scythers.
