The first bug that has plagued Overwatch 2 since its recent release involves missing skins and other cosmetic items like Golden Weapons. Overwatch 2 is now out across all platforms, replacing Overwatch, and player progress, collected Heroes, and related skins and cosmetic items will be carried over to the new game. But after logging in, players noticed that their collected items are missing.
This issue is still fresh and widespread since many players have taken it up to come online and voice the problem. Luckily, a representative from Blizzard Entertainment has released a statement stating that the issue is currently under investigation and is indeed a bug that players are facing.

Some players reported logging in after a few hours and finding all their cosmetic items intact, while others are still experiencing the bug. But rest assured that all cosmetic items are still available, and once the bug is rectified, the skins and items will be restored. There is no ETA on the fix, so players will have to wait a while for the cosmetics to show up.
If you are still facing some difficulties, there are a few tips you can try to get your skins in Overwatch 2.
- Check Login Account: You should verify whether the account you are using to log into Overwatch 2 is the one that you usually use while logging into Battle.net and making in-game purchases.
- Check Order History: If you have recently purchased any League Token or Loot Box, you should check your Order History to know if the order was processed successfully. Usually, it will take 72 hours for the order to process and show in your account.
- Wait for Live Promotion: Any skins purchased under the Founder’s or Watchpoint pack will only be available once the promotion is live. You should check the in-game store for more details.
