Niantic’s Pokemon GO is the mobile game of the Pokemon franchise where you can go out to collect Pokemon in your surroundings. It is an Augmented Reality (AR) game that uses the real-life GPS locations of the players to locate, capture, train, and battle the virtual Pokemon. The video game is the result of a collaboration between Niantic, Nintendo, and The Pokemon Company. Players can immerse themselves into the role of being a Trainer of Pokemon and catch all the Pokemon that they need. In this guide, we will take you through the mystery of the invisible obstacle on your way to PokeStops in Pokemon GO.
What is the Invisible Obstacle on your Way to PokéStops in Pokémon Go?
If you’ve been playing the game recently, you might notice an invisible object blocking your path when you are going to a Poke Stop. This is a new development which has been added to the game this year as part of the 2023 Community Day event. If you want to know what the object is for and how to unlock it, you are in the right place.

The invisible object on your PokéStop is actually Kecleon, which is a Pokemon that you can now catch as it has been added to the game. Until you get the Kecleon, you will not be able to collect the items on the PokéStop.
To catch Kecleon, you will need to tap on the invisible outline until the Pokemon appears. You might need to tap a couple of times for it to jump off the Poke Step, and then you can catch it. Along with this, you will also be able to collect the Poke Stop items that were blocked until now.
This is a great time to catch Kecleon as well as the Pokemon does not naturally spawn in the wild. This is widely speculated to be a limited-time event as part of the 2023 Community Day event, so make sure to catch the Pokemon before it disappears.
