How to Get Large Herbivore Bones in Monster Hunter Rise
Large Herbivore Bones may be found through exploring numerous places and hunting herbivore species such as the:
- Slagtoth
- Rhenoplos
- Gowngoat
Slagtoth & Rhenoplos:
The Slagtoth and Rhenoplos, who you desire to hunt down, will both emerge in the Lava Caverns. Alternatively, Slagtoth appears in the Flooded Forest, but Rhenoplos roam the Sandy Plains.
Slagtoth and Rhenoplos may be found at these ideal places in the Lava Caverns.
Gowngoat:
The Gowngoat will emerge in Monster Hunter Rise’s Citadel, a new locale. When you beat Garangolm and rise to Master Rank three, the region becomes open for exploration. We propose embarking on an expedition to this location before embarking on another Master Rank hunt, clearing the map of any fog before hunting out Gowngoats.
Gowngoats may be found in the Citadel in the following places.
All three of these species, however, have a poor probability of dropping Large Herbivore Bones.
- The Gowngoat has the best probability, with a 28% chance of dropping this substance after beating it.
- Both the Slagtoth and the Rhenoplos have a 20% possibility.
We advocate farming these monsters in their favourite places due to the low possibility of Large Herbivore Bones dropping from them. We recommend prioritising the Lava Caverns because Slagtoth and Rhenoplos share this terrain, but Gowngoats can only be found in the Citadel.
If you prefer not to collect these resources personally, we propose sending your friends on missions to these areas to find them. However, this procedure takes longer.
