Kaveh is one of the upcoming characters from Genshin Impact’s Sumeru region. Initial speculations of his design were leaked ages ago but we finally have a reliable leak of his in-game playable model. He’s leaked to release alongside Dehya in Version 3.5 at the earliest but it is still very much subject to change. Since we still don’t know much about Version 3.6 to 3.8, he could still come later in one of those patches.

Kaveh’s Character Model in Genshin Impact

Kaveh’s 3D model above shows him to be rather flamboyant with the red cape, blonde hair and navy blue highlights on his waist. He seems to be using the tall male model even though he doesn’t look the tallest as such.

The above leak shows his model in-game. Here, we can also see his Dendro vision hanging off the side of his waist. His demeanour shows a man of serious character but not one too stuck up about rules and regulations.

We know Kaveh is a graduate of the Akademiya and he was the one who designed the Palace of Alcazarzaray for Dori. He graduated from the Kshahrewar Darshan and he specialises in architecture. As for his playable character, even though most of the fandom thought he would be a bow or sword user, he’s recently been leaked to be a Dendro claymore user.

If so, he would be the first Dendro claymore user considering we already have Dendro characters who wield bows (Tighnari, Collei), swords (Dendro Traveler, Alhaitham) and catalysts (Nahida, Baizhu). The only weapon type still left, provided Kaveh is indeed a Dendro claymore user, is a Dendro polearm user.

As for his kit, we still know nothing. Kaveh is a rather mysterious character and he’s been teased to us through a notice board in Sumeru. Considering he knows Dori and designed the Palace of Alcazarzaray, we can expect him to be eccentric in some regard at the least. We’re likely going to meet him soon however considering he’s been featured in the Version 3.3 beta already.
