Farthest Frontier, an indie game by Crate Entertainment is a newly released town-building sim where you can build a town of your own. There are a lot of things that you need to look after in this survival game if you want to make it through the winter. Hardships are many in number in this game, as you will face the dangers of death and disease at every turn. In this guide, we will take you through the process of how to use the hunter cabin in Farthest Frontier.
How The Hunter Cabin Works in Farthest Frontier
There are a lot of buildings you need to create when you start playing Farthest Frontier. Most of these are for the protection of your villagers, who deserve a safe place to live. One that isn’t overrun by wild beasts like wolves and bears, or scheming human beings such as raiders.

To protect your villagers, you will need to build a hunter cabin somewhere in your village. The hunters will not only provide your villagers with safety, but also food. In order for this to happen, you should find a good spot to place your hunter cabin, preferably somewhere with deer sightings.
That’s right, your hunters will be killing deer in the vicinity, so make sure to give them a wide berth. Ideally, place the cabin a little farther away from the deer sighting area so that you don’t scare them off. As long as the work radius of the hunters meets that of the deer sighting, you should be fine.
After you have placed the hunter cabin, they should get to work, within their work radius. When deer are sighted, your hunters will step out of the cabin to go hunt for it. And when it is done, they will return with food for the villagers.
