To start, you will need an external port or third-party software that will let you cross-play from a Windows to Mac platform. You will also need to figure out if your Mac is 64-bit before you start the game. You can check if your system supports 64-bit by going to the System Report in the main menu of Apple’s about page, noting down the Model in the Model Identifier, and doing a quick Google Search about the hardware specs on the model you own. You will also need 16 GB of internal storage space available to run the game.
Next, you will have to install a Porting Kit by going to the Porting Kit’s website and downloading and installing the latest version of the DMG file. Move the Porting Kit to the applications folder of your system for easy access. Open the Porting Kit, do the initial setup, go to the library tab, and type in Steam in the search bar.
