You can remove borders in V Rising by going to the build mode. You can get here by pressing the B key. Before you can start dismantling everything, you will need to remove obstacles that are touching the tiles that need to be expanded, which include the walls, flooring and pillars, and other cosmetic features. Once that is done, hover over the border you wish to remove and press and hold down the spacebar to start the dismantling process. You need to make sure nothing is touching the external border tiles, or else you will not be able to increase the castle borders. You will also need to check if you have reached your Castle limit, as this too will prevent you from claiming unused borders.
You should keep in mind that your border cannot be separated from the Castle Heart. If that is the case, you will have to revamp your space so that you don’t end up with a break in your territory. As you keep leveling up, you will be able to upgrade and increase your Castle space, but that will require some time and patience to achieve.
