Dinkum is an RPG game in which we control the town’s growth. We must finish all of the tasks. As the game develops, we grow plants and harvest crops, raise animals, gather raw materials, extract minerals from the earth, hunt, and fish, and construct new constructions.
A Dinkum Thunder Egg is a rare item appearing in the game only after a major lightning strike. It’s unusual to witness a massive egg materialize out of nowhere, let alone a massive egg flashing with electricity.
This guide will discuss the Thunder Egg, how to obtain one, and what it is useful for.

Getting Thunder Eggs in Dinkum
A Thunder Egg occurs only when there is a storm. When a lightning strike occurs, there is a high probability that a Thunder Egg will materialize on the map. It’s a massive egg that looks like a Mu Saddle’s but has a rocky texture and shoots forth lightning sparks.
It is completely safe to handle a Thunder Egg with your bare hands, and because it is a large resource item, it can only be carried on top of the player’s head and cannot be stored in the inventory.
Uses of Thunder Eggs in Dinkum
In Dinkum, there are just a few things you can do with a Thunder Egg, and one of them is hopefully not producing a thunder chick. Regardless, getting one may be quite a pleasure since it serves as a wonderful display piece and can fetch you a decent amount of Dinks.
- Selling it to John
You can give John a Thunder Egg and set it on the scale. Depending on the egg’s weight, John will be prepared to pay you between 50,000 and 60,000 Dinks.
- To Find Opals
Similar to real-life thunder eggs, shattering one of these eggs will yield Opals, gleaming jewels that may be sold for a high price. Each Thunder Egg contains four Opals, each of which may be sold for 15,000 Dinks; therefore, weigh the egg before cracking it open; sell the egg itself if John appraises it for more than 60,000 Dinks, else crack the egg and sell the Opals instead. According to reports, you may also drop the egg in water, and it will shatter, yielding the same amount of Opal.
- Completing the tasks
If you are not in desperate need of Dinks, it is advised that you retain one Thunder Egg as a display piece in your house since some of the inhabitants may ask you to take a photo of a Thunder Egg as a chore from time to time.
