Dinkum is an RPG game in which we control the town’s growth. We must finish all of the tasks. We produce plants and harvest crops, raise animals, gather raw materials, extract minerals from the soil, hunt, and fish, and build new structures as the game progresses.
Alphas are the highest of all the bosses. Jackaroos are a cross between kangaroos and deer, with all variations running away when confronted. If assaulted, the horned variety will frequently kick. However, it has a longer windup motion.
Let’s look at what kangaroos are like in Dinkum with the help of this Alpha Kangaroo Quest guide.

Completing Alpha Jackaroo Quest in Dinkum
To begin with, the Alpha Kangaroo, or as the game refers to it, the Alpha Jackaroo may only spawn if you have accepted the “Alpha Jackaroo” request on the town’s Bulletin Board. The board requests are chosen randomly, so keep an eye out for these exciting requests.
It should spawn on the map after you accept it. There will be a map marker indicating its location. When battling alpha animals, I recommend bringing at least copper weapons and some drinks if you need healing.
The Kangaroo has two attacks:
- One is a kick attack with considerable wind-up time; it’s fairly forgiving, so simply move away to avoid it.
- The other is a move that jumps high and falls, causing a shockwave that harms and pushes you back. You should be very cautious of this attack since it can hit you numerous times if you simply go to the middle of the ring.
I recommend either waiting for the shockwave to pass or jumping over it for the leap attack. Either works; the latter only gives you a chance to land a few hits before the following attack.
The Alpha Kangaroo has a lot of health, and it takes a few minutes to destroy with a copper spear. However, you will be rewarded with some excellent Raw Prime Meat, which is wonderful for cooking.
