V Rising is one of the best games to come out this month. It’s from the developer Stunlock Studios, who are based in the same city as the Valheim dev’s. That game was a surprise for all. While V Rising starts up slow, the game becomes really challenging and fun as you move to newer, later areas. The game provides you a lot of storage options and it’s unlikely you will run out of storage at the starting or mid-stages of the game, but there is a limit to the amount of items you can hold in the inventory.
At times, the inventory may be full and you will be far from the castle to access the storage. In such a case, you will need to free space in Inventory or drop resources. Here is how you can free up space in V Rising.
V Rising – How to Free Space in Inventory or Drop Resources
There are three ways to free resources in V Rising. You can straight away drop them from the inventory, when looting a crate, you can transfer the items in your inventory to the crate, or transfer the items in your inventory to your regular storage crates or the space in the various production machinery menu.

When you raid a bandit camp, there will be chests you can loot. You can use the same chest menu to transfer your resources from the inventory. Usually, there are plenty of empty space in the loot box that you can fill with the items you want to discard.
If you want to drop the items immediately, you can hit ‘Tab’ to open the inventory and then select the item and press ‘Space Bar’ to drop the item.
The third option is to store the items in the storage chests or the production machine output/input area.
That’s all we have in this guide. You can check the V Rising category for more tips and tricks to play the game.
