With the release of Dying Light 2 players can enjoy dynamic gameplay as they kill zombies in this survival smasher horror game with fun mechanics such as crafting your own weapon and ammo. This is different from simply collecting a blueprint as you do when you finish a quest such as the Pipe Bow and the Grappling Hook, because you get to use the materials you find in the game, known as ‘craft parts’. This guide will take you through the process of crafting mines.
Crafting Mines in Dying Light 2
Mines are an accessory that can be crafted by a player much like other ammo like those for ranged weapons. These are handy as powerful devices meant for causing explosions, triggered by pressure, and can be used to kill zombies from a distance. They can inflict damage on a large number of creatures at the same time with their large area of damage.

On completion of your first substation mission, you will be able to craft them at a craftmaster at any city, by using your in-game currency and the craft parts which you will gather by exploring the map.
The craft parts you need are 10 Scraps, 2 Rags, 5 Wiring and 3 Electrical Parts.
Most of these items will be easily found, except the Electrical Parts which are uncommon. You need to look through the cash registers at Forsaken Stores and Evacuation Convoys to find them. Forsaken stores should only be explored at night.
Pay the craftmaster 230 Old World Money and you will be able to collect the blueprint from him.
Once you have collected the blueprint for Mines, you need to go to your Character Menu and select Craft.
Now you can use mines to bomb zombies in the game. Check out our guide on How to Increase Max Health in Dying Light 2 if you’re having trouble staying alive in the game.
