The Crown faction has lots of missions and all of them are divided into 5 tiers. Data Wipe is one of those Crown faction missions positioned as a tier 5 mission. How to complete the Data Wipe Mission in Warzone 2 DMZ?
Data Wipe is a Crown faction mission (tier 5) that requires players to complete these 3 objectives:
- Bring the Experiment Hard Drive into Building 21
- Decrypt the Hard Drive at a Computer in Building 21
- Upload the Decrypted Hard Drive at the Zaya Observatory Radio Tower in Al Mazrah
The necessary items required for the mission:
- Building 21 Access card
- Experiment Hard Drive
- Ammunition Box (lots of enemies to fight)
These 2 are the only necessary things required for the mission and players will need to have multiple of these things because of the high risk of the mission.

For the second objective, players simply need to go to the data centre located on the first floor of building 21. Players need to go to the back of the data centre and wait for the data to upload to the hard drive. Players need to be extra careful because the uploading will take a long time and many AI enemies will get aggro and attack you. After the experiment hard drive gets decrypted, players will need to extract building 21 with the decrypted hard drive.
For the third objective, players will infil into the Al Mazrah map with the decrypted hard drive into their backpacks and then make their way to the Zaya Observatory. Players need to be extra careful here as it is a stronghold and there are lots of enemies there. Players can sneak into the Radio Tower and wait for the hard drive to be uploaded into the database. This will take some time and after the upload, the mission will be completed and players will get the 40000 XP reward alongside Dead End (weapon blueprint).
