Growing and harvesting the Fluxweed plant is a simple task, as you can purchase the seeds or plant from Dogweed and Deathcap or The Magic Neep in Hogsmeade. You can use the seeds and plant them in the Potting Station in the Room of Requirements, or the Greenhouse.
Once that is done, you have to get three combat plants next. The ones that you have to get are the Chinese Chomping Cabbage, Mandrake, and a Venomous Tentacula. You can purchase all three plants from Dogweed and Deathcap, but it will cost you 1400 gold. The store even sells the seeds, but that will cost twice as much. Whichever method you choose, you should get all three combat plants.
Next, you need to equip the plants and cast them. It’s not necessary to use them in combat, and you can use them straight away after purchasing them. You can equip each plant by pressing and holding down L1/LB to select the plant, then release the buttons to equip the plant. Press and hold down L1/LB again to toss the plant. Do this two more times to complete the assignment. As a reward, you can learn the Flipendo spell, which can be used to knockback enemies.
