V Rising, the latest Vampire-themed survival game by Stunlock Studios released on 17th May 2022. It gets huge popularity since its release because of its unique storyline and gameplay. Here players play as a Vampire who has awakened from a death-like slumber after Centuries. Now his aim is to conquer the world and enslave all the humans.
As a multiplayer game, the players can play V Rising with friends; additionally, if you want you can build a Dedicated V Rising Server. This guide will help you with the entire process of building the Dedicated Server in V Rising.
Dedicated V Rising Server- How to Create?
V Rising is a unique game that has attracted the attention of the players a lot. If you are also a fan of this game and wanted to create a Dedicated Server, the process is a little lengthy and there are some criteria to match. Below we are giving the entire process in detail-
Server Criteria
- Windows 10 or Server 2016+ and 64-Bit
- 5 GB disk space
- Quad Core Processor. It must have 2 full cores.
- Up to 16 GB of memory. Though currently, it doesn’t require that much memory.
- Copy of V Rising early access game from Steam.
The Process
- Made a folder in the C-drive- VRisingServer
- Download Stream CMD for Windows- https://steamcdn-a.akamaihd.net/client/installer/steamcmd.zip
- Transfer/extract the zip contents to the folder you just created.
- Made another file named FetchServerFiles.bat and enter the codes there: @echo off start “” steamcmd.exe +login USER PASS +force_install_dir “C:\VRisingServer” +app_update 1829350 validate +quit
- Run FetchServerFiles.bat to fetch server files from Steam.
That’s the process to create the Dedicated Server. Next, you need to know how you can start and join the server.
Start the Server
To start the server you created, made another called StartServer.bat by following the below steps-
- Start “” VRisingServer.exe -log
- Run StartServer.bat and it’ll take around 10 minutes to load.
Config your Server
To config, your server opens the ServerConfig.ini. You can change the settings here and these settings overwrite your launch line settings:
- “Name” : “My V Rising Server”
- “Description” : “This is a role playing server”
- “Port” : 27015
- “QuertPort” : 27016
- “MaxConnectedUsers” : 10
- “MaxConnectedAdmins” : 4
- “ServerName” : “World1”
- “Password” : “SuperSecret”
- “ListOnMasterServer” : true
- “AutoSaveInterval” : 120
- “AutoSaveCount” : 40
- “GameSettingsPresent” : “StandardPVP”
Join Server
once you are done with the entire process, follow the below steps to join the server-
- Launch the Game and click on ‘Play’
- Next, click on ‘Online Play’
- You’ll get the Find Server option at the bottom of the screen.
- Click on ‘Display all Servers & Settings’
- Search your server by the name you gave.
There is an alternate way to join the server. Follow the steps we are giving-
- Launch the Game and click on ‘Play’
- Next, click on ‘Online Play’
- You’ll get the Find Server option at the bottom of the screen
- Go to the Direct Connect option and click.
- Inside the box, enter your Server ID or IP: Port
- Click on connect.
These are the steps to follow to create and join Dedicated Server in V Rising.
