My Time in Sandrock is the latest installment in the ‘My Time at’ series by Pathea Games. The game is set in a desert, and players need to complete different Commissions and Quests to unlock different items to survive and proceed through the game.
Planting Kit is the primary item to manage and harvest your crops throughout the year. But it is not unlocked from the beginning; instead, players need to complete a quest to get the Planting Kit in My Time at Sandrock. This guide will help you know how Planting Kits work in the game.
How to Plant and Grow Crops in My Time at Sandrock- Planting Kit Use
Before telling you how to make and use the Planting Kit in My Time at Sandrock, let me tell you about the Planting Kit. A Planting Kit is not a toolbox kind of thing that you can get into your inventory. Instead, it is a ‘Menu.’ To open the menu, press ‘Tab’ on your keyboard, and you’ll see the Planting Kit menu at the bottom right of the screen. But obviously, first, you have to learn and make the Plating Kit.
My Time at Sandrock is set in a desert where growing crops is very challenging. But players need to grow crops, and in this matter, Zeke, a farmer NPC, will help them. He is the only moisture farmer of the game. Zeke will help you know how to build a Planting Kit, but you can use it after you complete the Moisture Farm Blues quest. Next, you’ll learn how to make a Desert Planting Kit by completing the main story quest named The Grass is Greener.
Once you have made the Planting Kit, you can access it only when farming inside the boundaries of your Workshop. After you open the menu, you can start making Straw Grids using Straw and plant different seeds. Also, using this menu, you can use water, fertilizer, etc., to grow the crops faster.
That’s all you need to know about using Planting Kit in My Time at Sandrock. If you are curious to know how you can grow your own crops in the game, check out our guide to get help.
