With the release of Halo Infinite for Xbox and PC, players have been exploring this open-world franchise which offers them new equipment, missions, and enemies. The Campaign Mode offers players plenty of new areas to explore. But traveling to each one takes a bit of time. Here we will look at how to unlock fast travel in Halo Infinite.
How to Unlock Fast Travel in Halo Infinite
As players are aware, Halo Infinite houses various enemies of varying strength. If following the Campaign mode, you can come across them, and after completing the battles you will find that fast travel points open up. But before that, you will have to locate all the Forward Operating Bases (FOB) in the Campaign.
FOBs are scattered all over the map in different areas. To unlock it, you need to take out all the enemies that are there. Once unlocked, you can fast travel anywhere or change the load out. Be warned, each enemy is different in each base, and you might even end up encountering bosses tougher than you, so before venturing out to take them down, be sure to have better weapons with you.
Once the enemies are cleared out, walk over to the large platform. You will find a console in the middle that you can interact with. With this, you have activated the base’s fast travel point. You can do a lot more than use the FOB for travel. You can also call in vehicles or change your gears and weapon loadout. If you cannot activate the console, check the area again for any enemies you have missed. You can use your mini-map to track down the missing enemy.
To use the fast travel application, use your pointer and click on your desired FOB, then click on your fast travel button to travel. You do not have to worry about enemies spawning after leaving the base, as the effect is permanent.
Using fast travel will make things easier if you want to find collectibles or explore places that are out of your reach. You just need to take over all the FOBs before you can achieve that.
