Genshin Impact 3.1 leaks have been flooding the internet lately and we’re here to give you a general gist about them. Since Version 3.0 just released the new region of Sumeru and the final element Dendro, it’s safe to assume Genshin Impact won’t be running out of content for these first few Sumeru patches whose dates have already been confirmed.
What’s New in Genshin Impact 3.1
Interestingly, apart from the story quests to be added for Sumeru, this upcoming patch seems largely focused on the Weinlesefest Festival in Mondstadt which can be roughly translated to “The Wind and Wine Festival”.
As festivals usually are in Genshin Impact, we can expect to meet a lot of our friends we’ve made along the way as characters from all over Tevyat are supposed to appear to taste the exclusive festival wines. We’re going to have a hearty Collei and Amber reunion and we’re also likely to be knowing more about Razor’s parents. We can also expect other characters from Liyue and Inazuma there.
Apart from the festival, we’re getting 3 new Sumeru characters alongside their signature weapons. Of these, 2 are 5 stars- Nilou and Cyno and the 4-star character is Candace who’s a Hydro polearm user. Speaking of polearms, we’re also getting a free polearm from the Mondstadt festival. We’re also getting a new 4-star gacha weapon set containing 3 weapons- catalyst, sword and claymore as of now.
We’ll also have a new event called Windfield Maze which sounds a lot of fun and we hope it’s like Windtrace. We have two events which are also getting a rerun- Hyakunin Ikki and Shadow of the Ancients. Both of these have combat elements in them even though Shadow of the Ancients is more puzzle and exploration-focused.
As for our last event, we’re getting a simple log-in event where players will have to log-in regularly for 7 days to receive Primogems and gifts. Overall 3.1 looks festive and we’re looking forward to visiting Mondstadt again to see our old friends and acquaintances.
