Diallos is an NPC who you will meet for the first time at the Roundtable Hold, then again at Volcano Manor. He had briefly left the premises to find his servant’s killers but eventually returns in the end. Players couldn’t get a lot out of him and felt his questline was lacking. Now, after the update, there are some more revelations to his storyline.
While following Tanith, the Head of Volcano Manor’s, questline, there will come a time when you will have to defeat Rykard, Lord of Blasphemy. After its defeat, head back to Volcano Manor and you can meet Diallos. He will inform you that he is heading to Jarburg, which is found near the Divine Tower of Liurnia. If you head there, you will meet with Jair Bairn, a pot-headed NPC. Upon speaking to him, he will ask you if you are the new Potentate. You can respond with an affirmative, but he will reject you anyway.
Rest at the Site of Grace nearby and try again till you get a fresh set of dialogs. He will eventually mention Diallos, and after speaking to him, head over to the huts nearby and you can find Diallos inside one of them. Talk to him and head back to Jair Bairn, keep exchanging words with the both of them till there comes a point where Diallos is found almost dead. While Diallos is suffering from his injuries, he will ask you if the villagers are okay and if the poachers are dead. You can either affirm or deny this, he will anyways succumb to his injuries and his questline will end. After his demise, if you had not killed him at Liurnia in the beginning and looted the rewards off of him, you can do that now. You will get Diallos’ Mask, the Hoslow’s Petal Whip, and Numen’s Rune.
Also, if you have Alexander’s Insides of Alexander the Iron Fist’s, you can hand it over to Jar Bairn in a later meeting after he proclaims to set out and be a Champion. In return, he will hand over the Companion Jar Talisman and you will also end the questline for Jar Bairn.
