Since there are only three of these Glacial Catalysts to be found, it is considered quite rare to come across them if you don’t know where to look.
First Glacial Catalyst
To get the first Glacial Catalyst, you will get it as a reward for solving the Don’t Blink treasure map. To get the map, look for it in Fafnir’s Storeroom, near the pedestal with a dead body inside.
Travel up the southern part of the mountain onto the highland, clear the black breath and exit the cave. Turn left right after exiting and go towards the black mound that is near the edge of the cliff. This is your first Glacial Catalyst.
Second Glacial Catalyst
In another Treasure Map quest, you will need to get the map from Northri’s Stronghold. Get to the dock and smash the hull of the Viking Ship and get inside, you will find the scroll near the dead body. After that, travel to Mason Channel Region, situated west of Council of Valkyrie and east of Light Elf Outpost. Climb the cliff near the beach and follow the path till you reach Sindri. Take a right here and follow the path till you reach a statue, look around it and you will get the second Glacial Catalyst.
Third Glacial Catalyst
You will need a Magic Chisel before you can go hunting down the third Glacial Catalyst. Get to Thamur’s Corpse, break the seal and go through the door after completing the quest. Get to the Iron Gate with the rune lock. You will need three runes to open it. The first one is above the tunnel when you turn around. The second one is on the iceberg on the opposite side, which you can get to if you climb up the brass tacks on the Shield and leap up onto the ledge. For the last rune, go to the platform edge and drop down to the ledge below. You will find a rune on top of the iceberg. Take your runes and go back to the Iron Gate to get the last Glacial Catalyst.
That’s all there is to know about how to get all the Glacial Catalysts to upgrade your Infinite Storms Charm in God of War.
