Muck does not have the option to save game. The whole point of the game is to survive as many days as possible with a single life. But, that was the inital concept of the game. While the game still does have support the save featrue, it allows you to respawn when you die, so you don’t have to start the game all over again.
As you start Muck and collect the Rocks, Slap the tree, and are off to making the Workbench, you find that the serene and peaceful world of Muck isn’t that peaceful. You get attacked by enemies and before you can defend yourself, you are dead and all progress is lost. You will have to start a new game. There is no option in Respawn in Muck. When you start the game, you do not have the gear to defend yourself, hence, the ability to respawn becomes crucial. In this guide, we will show you how to respawn in Muck for both single players and multiplayer.
How to Respawn in Muck
If you are a single player, there isn’t an official way to respawn in the Muck game. Once you die, you have to start over. However, there is a Mod available that makes it possible to set respawn points in the game. So, the next time you die you simply respawn at the point you set. To get the Mod, you have to join the Muck Discord. After your download, the mod, simply copy the files to the location and choose to rewrite existing files. The location is “\steamapps\common\Muck\Muck_Data\”
For players who choose to play with others, there is a way to respawn and it required the assistance of your teammates. Once you have died, your team can bring you back to life using the Revive Totems. When a player dies, the totem becomes available and the team has to simply interact with it to bring the person back to life.
So, that’s how to respawn in Muck for both single-player and multiplayer mode.
