Graphics card pricing has been on a downward trend for the last month. AMD graphics cards took a sharp fall in price initially, and Nvidia cards followed suit. Although the higher demand and pricepoint of Nvidia cards still mean that they are significantly costlier than their AMD counterparts.

This news is not completely out of the blue as Nvidia manufactures much more cards than AMD. But, AMD has a huge pricing advantage in the mid-range and the high-end market. The Radeon RX 6600 and the Radeon RX 6900 are selling at crazy prices these days. We spotted the Radeon RX 6900 selling for just $849 on the website.

What are the Current Graphics Card Prices on Newegg?

The current Newegg.com pricing tier list is given below.

GeForce RTX 3080 10GBUS$ 849.99
GeForce RTX 3070 TiUS$ 699.99
GeForce RTX 3070US$ 699.99
GeForce RTX 3060 TiUS$ 549.99
GeForce RTX 3060US$ 389.99

Radeon RX 6700 XTUS$ 498.99
Radeon RX 6600 XTUS$ 399.99
Radeon RX 6600US$ 329.99
Radeon RX 6500 XTUS$ 199.99
Radeon RX 6400US$ 159.99

The Radeon RX 6900 XT is a very competitive card. It threatens the RTX 3090 by a huge margin these days. But, it costs much less than the RTX 3090. The other AMD offerings paint a similar idea. The RX 6600 8GB card outperforms Nvidia’s budget offering, the RTX 3060 12GB, by a respectable margin while at the same time costing much less than it. But, the sales figures of the RTX 3060 are much more promising than those of the RX 6600.

While AMD’s latest offering, the RX 6400, is a bit questionable, it is a great low-profile card for ITX users. It is a solid replacement for the much costlier GTX 1650 low profile. Although the card has not been designed for gaming, it can achieve playable numbers on all modern AAA games. But, the sales numbers are in the mud.

Although AMD is doing much better than the last generation of RX 5000 series cards, the company still has a long way to go before it can catch up with Nvidia.
