MMO Lost Ark by Smilegate lets players delve into a whole new world called Arkesia. This exciting adventure lets you go exploring the open-world map as you fight monsters and collect items. With a world as big as that of Lost Ark’s, it is no surprise that there is an abundance of collectibles for the players to find in order to complete their quests. The game pretty much lets the players fend for themselves, which often leads to them exploring freely and looking for assistance whenever truly required due to the lack of hints, which is natural for open-world games. This guide will take you through the process of how to get the Turtle Companion in Lost Ark.
How to Get Turtle Companion in Lost Ark
Besides all the main quests and side-quests in the game, there are a couple of things you can do in the game to help you take your gameplay to the next level. A lot of players collect mounts that they can ride on or use as a companion, as you might have noticed while in multiplayer mode. You can also collect such a companion in Lost Ark—you will only need a few specific items to do so.

To get the Turtle Companion in Lost Ark, you need to have a piece of Jewel Coral in your possession. This will be rewarded to you after a quest in Turtle Island, so the first thing you need to do is make your way there. Keep in mind that you will need to have unlocked Sailing prior to starting this journey, and have a working ship ready as you will need to sail to this Island.
Turtle Island is located off the West Coast of Anikka. Once you sail there, you will see some quests opening up for you on the map. It’s a good idea to complete exploring the entire region as you finish all the quests to receive the maximum amount of rewards. However, for the Jewel Coral, you only need to finish the quests.
Once you’re through with each and every questline on this island, you will be rewarded with the Jewel Coral. Take this to a Merchant who deals in Luxury Goods and sell it to them in exchange for your Turtle Companion.
