Dying Light 2 is an action role-playing open world Zombie-themed game where players need to fight with the Zombies to save Mia. It is one of the biggest games of this New Year, and players are waiting for a long time to experience the gameplay and explore the Zombie-infested open world of Dying Light 2.
Like every other Open World game, Dying Light 2 also provides players with many survival tools, and all of them are upgradable. Infected Trophies are one of the most crucial parts of this upgrade process. This guide will let you know how to get Infected Trophies in Dying Light 2.
Locations and Types of Infected Trophies in Dying Light 2
If you are curious to know what an Infected Trophy is, let me explain. Infected Trophies are the key elements in upgrading your weapons to your paraglider and everything else. In the beginning, when you upgrade your items, it won’t require an Infected Trophy, but as you level up the upgrading process, you need Infected Trophies.
Three types of Infected Trophies are available in Dying Light 2– Unique, Rare, and Uncommon. Below we’ll discuss each trophy and where to get them.
Unique Infected Trophies
These are the maximum rarity level of the Infected Trophies. It is very obvious that you can’t get them easily. To get Unique Infected Trophies, you need to beat Volatiles, Demolishers, and Chargers. Demolisher and Charger are pretty challenging to find and fight because they rarely spawn in some particular locations like Forsaken Stores or Dark Hollows.
Though Volatiles are easy to find, they are not easy to fight. They hit hard and dealt massive damage. Therefore, be careful while fighting with Volatiles.
Rare Infected Trophies
These Infected Trophies are not as hard as the Unique Infected Trophies to get. You’ll get these Trophies from Banshee, Bolters, and Goons. Because Banshees appear much later in the game, it is better to target Goons and Bolters. Bolters will be found at night, and Goons will be located guarding Evacuation Convoys. Sometimes Virials also drop Rare Infected Trophies but is it a rare incident.
Uncommon Infected Trophies
Don’t go for the name; these are the most common ones you can easily get. You can get it from Virials, Spitters, and Howlers. Spitters and Howlers are pretty common enemies you’ll encounter at night. For Virials, you can either meet them in Dark Hollows and Forsaken Stores or summon them by using an explosive.
