There are characters that you can invite into your village to live permanently, and one of them is Maui. In fact, you will need to get Maui in your village to get some coconuts. You will need this item for his quest called Burying the Eel. If you want to complete this quest or simply get some coconuts, we’ve got you covered.
The first thing you need is to have Maui in your village, and then have the Friendship level at 2. Once you have increased the Friendship level, you will trigger the Burying the Eel quest. After beginning the quest and burying the eel, you will have coconut trees spawn in the area.
To harvest coconuts, you will need to approach them like any other tree and pick the fruit. This is done by pressing E on PC. You can also move the trees to wherever you like with the help of the moving mechanism.
