Halo Infinite is going to be released on 8th December 2021 and players are excited to play the final version of the game. But recently, 343 has announced that the forge mode is not released with the final version of the game. It’ll come sometime in 2022. Forge mode is one of the most requested elements of this game and players become sad after listening to that announcement.
343 Industries have announced that they are going to add a co-op campaign in season two and Forge mode in season three, which will come a lot after the release of season one. Joseph Staten, the Creative Head of 343 has confirmed to Eurogame that season one will run for more than three months. After that season two will come. Therefore, players can guess that the Forge Mode is not coming in near future. There is no chance for season three to come before October or November of next year.
Staten hasn’t declared any official release dates for the next seasons of Halo Infinite. He said, “Unfortunately, as we focused the team for shutdown, and really focused on a quality experience for launch, we made the really tough decision to delay shipping campaign co-op for launch. And we made the tough call to delay shipping Forge past launch as well.”
This is sad news for the fans, who were eagerly waiting for the Forge mode. But 343 Industries might have their reasons to delay the Forge mode. Most probably, they need more time to improve those portions of the game. They have already released the free-to-play multiplayer beta version of Halo Infinite a few weeks ago and it is getting positive reviews from the players and critics.
However, we can’t do anything in this matter. It’s the decision of the developers and the publishers about when to release the game. we can only wait for the next two seasons to be released soon while playing the first season of Halo Infinite.
