Sea of Thieves has a new quest that you can embark on – The Lost Shipment Voyage. Your objective is to follow the clues and track the ship lost in sea of the Merchant Alliance. The pirate who finds the ship and its content would be handsomely rewarded. However, a lot of players on Twitch, the game’s forum, and Reddit are reporting all kinds of issues with the quest. Keep scrolling to know more about the Sea of Thieves missing ship bug in the Lost Shipments Voyage.
How to Complete Sea of Thieves Lost Shipments Voyage
Before we tell you about the bug with the quest, let’s have a look at the process to complete the new adventure in the game. To complete the Sea of Thieves Lost Shipments Voyage, you need to first purchase the voyage from the representatives of the Merchant Alliance for gold coins. If your pirate’s reputation is less than 25, the voyage can be obtained from Larinna.
Once you have the voyage, take a look at the map for the first clue. The first clue is in the planned trading route. You need to sail from one end to the other in order to find the clue. If you are at start, sail to the finish. If you are at the middle, sail to the end and if there is no clue, go back to the origin. So, far we have seen that there are five clues, but some players were able to find the missing shipment without gathering all five.
Besides the first clue that’s in the planned trading route, the other clues are:
Clue in a Bottle – to obtain this clue, you will have to visit the nearby island and search for the Clue in a Bottle. The crew of the lost ship made a stop at this island. After you obtain the clue, you will be attacked by skeletons, so beware of them.
Locate Lone Pirate – For the second clue, we had to go find Martha the Fierce. You can find the pirate on a shoreline. Go to the marked island and find the pirate. Ask about the missing cargo and you will get the clue.
Coordinate A17 (the exact coordinate can vary from player to player)
With the third clue, you have the coordinate, use the map to find and reach the coordinate. The number is one the side and letters on top. When you reach the location, you will notice some seagulls over a piece of boat and the last clue.
The Last Clue
As for the last clue, it becomes clear that the lost ship is somewhere between A17 and Morrow’s Peak Outpost.
This is the most difficult part of the Lost Shipments Voyage quest as you have to look for the ship between this regions. Be on the lookout for seagulls as they can be in indication of the ship. Once you find the ship, a skeleton would be holding the manifest.
Sea of Thieves Missing Shipwreck Bug | Lost Shipments Voyage Bugged
So, in a nutshell, that’s how the mission is supposed to do down, but players are reporting not being able to find the coordinate clue, the final clue, or the shipwreck. Even after constant looking, it seems the clue is not available for those players.
As a large number of players are able to complete the quest including ourselves, it’s unlikely the quest is bugged. If you do not follow the clues and do the missions out of order, you may have difficulty finding clues and completing the Lost Shipments Voyage quest. Follow the clues from one to the next. If you divert even slightly from the previous clue, the bug can surface where you might not find the next clue or the shipwreck.
Having said the quest is not bugged, there are a lot of reports from a large number of players not being able to complete the quest. If you are one of them, it could be that you are doing something wrong that’s triggering the bug and causing clues and shipwrecks to disappear.
That’s all we have in this guide, if you have something to add, let us know. We will update the post when we know more about the bug if it’s in fact a bug.
