Genshin Impact Version 3.1 will finally give us evil Scaramouche who will possibly end up as Sumeru’s first weekly boss. As scary as Scaramouche looks in the Version 3.1 Trailer for Genshin Impact, he’s also leaked to be surviving the Archon Quests unlike Signora. He’s also leaked to be releasing as a playable character in Version 3.3 and in this article, we’re going over some of the latest leaks about his kit.
Leaked Details of Scaramouche’s Kit in Genshin Impact 3.3
Playable Scaramouche is already leaked to be an Anemo unit but until recently the rest of his kit was still a mystery. His weapon type could be either polearm, sword or catalyst with catalyst being his most likely option. The following leaks discuss some reliable and some questionable details about his E skill and elemental burst- but one thing the leakers agree on is that he’ll be a DPS unit.
While players might be inclined to think he’s just a budget limited-banner 5-star Venti, it must be noted that Venti is still a sub-dps and a very good one at that. Meanwhile Scaramouche is already being claimed as a DPS. His E skill on the other hand is similar to Kazuha’s and hopefully we can expect this similar fun element to function during exploration too.
Another leaker also claims that Scaramouche will get a dedicated artifact set though this information is still questionable. This would also imply we’re getting two new artifact sets in Version 3.3 since Genshin usually releases two artifact sets at once and gives us a new domain to farm them from. This artifact set will also apparently be viable for Kazuha even though the Viridescent Venerer will still remain his best-in-slot as a support build.
Another leak from a Chinese source claims that Scaramouche’s Q or elemental burst will continuously consume energy per second and won’t have a cooldown (CD). This was however debunked by a trusted leaker but no other information was given on the matter.
As a new Anemo unit, we can expect Scaramouche to be another fun unit in the game- hopefully with another fun exploration mechanic. As someone with the nickname of The Wanderer, this is the least we can expect from his kit.
