Players of the game Pokemon Legends: Arceus will be excited to know about all the new Pokemon that they can now catch in Hisui, the pre-Sinnoh region. Legends: Arceus will take players on an open-world adventure to a time before Pokemon and people lived in harmony.
Pokemon Diamond and Pearl remakes might have been faithful to the Sinnoh region storyline, but Legends: Arceus will be having brand new Pokemon in the game, which include Nobles, original evolutions, and new regional Hisuian forms.
Pokemon that has been confirmed in Legends: Arceus
The new category called Nobles are guardian-like creatures that have been sent into turmoil, and Trainers would have to find and defeat them in a sort of boss-like battle.
The first Noble was revealed in a trailer back in September, called Kleavor. Kleavor is a Bug/Rock-type and is also a new evolution for Scyther. It is also called the “Lord of the Woods”.
Below are all the Pokemon that have been revealed to be in the game.
Basculegion
Evolved from the Basculin from the Unova region, Basculegion’s evolution story is sort of dark. The Basculin evolves into Basculegion after it is possessed by all the souls of the dead Basculins who have perished while moving upstream.
Basculegion can be used to travel throughout the lakes and rivers in the region. It is a Water/Ghost-type.
Wyrdeer
Wyrdeer is a Normal/Psychic Pokemon. It is an evolution of Stantler, the Johto region’s deer type. Wyrdeer has strong ties to the people of Hisui, hence has been granted respect since ancient times.
The fur of Wyrdeer is used to make clothing, to help the people of Hisui keep warm during the winters. Wyrdeers can be used to travel across the land.
Hisuian Braviary
The Hisuian Braviary is the local equivalent of the Unova region’s Braviary and only visits Hisui during the winters. It uses its Psychic powered screeches to generate shockwaves that can be used to attack other Pokemon. It is a Psychic/Flying-type Pokemon.
Hisuian Growlithe
Hisui has another local favorite from the Kanto region, the Hisuian Growlithe. This Fire/Rock type’s soft fur helps insulate its body against the cold weather of Hisui, while the horn is made up of rocks that can be easily broken, hence it only uses it when necessary.
Hisuian Voltorb
The Voltorb has taken on another regional form with the Hisuian Voltorb. Resembling a wooden Poke Ball used in the Hisui regions, this Grass/Electric type might also get its evolution form sometime soon, but nothing has been confirmed yet.
Hisuian Zoroark and Hisuian Zorua
In a “found footage” type teaser, it was revealed that Zorua, and its evolution Zoroark, will both get their Hisuian forms. Their color scheme is now white and red and it will live in the high mountain tops. Usually a pure Dark-type Pokemon from the Unova region, in Hisua they will be a new variation of Normal/Ghost-type.
These are all the Pokemon that have so far been confirmed in Pokemon Legends: Arceus, but keep a lookout for more updates that will include more new or old Pokemon to the Hisua region.
