The world of Psychonauts 2 is large and not saving the game will have you rerun the same sequence all over again. Hence, knowing how to manually save in Psychonauts 2 will severe you well. How to Save Game Manually in Psychonauts 2

You may have forgotten how save worked in the original title 16 years ago, but that’s fine because Psychonauts 2 features the new save system. As mentioned autosave is a part of the game and you don’t have to bother about saving the game manually. However, in cases, you decide to take a break from the game or you simply want to ensure the progress is saved up to a point, then, you may be thinking of manually saving the game. While the game does not have any manual save, it has a system that works pretty well.

To save in Psychonauts 2, simply find an item or enter a new area. Once you do that the game will be saved. You can check that by going to the Title Menu option. Once you do that the game will tell you the last time it saved down to the second. The time shown is in minutes and seconds such as “1:00.” So, if you lose any progress at all it will be mere seconds.

If you want to start afresh game without erasing the previous runs save, the game provides you three slots to do so. Once you are at the Main Manu, head to the Resume Game option. Bring up the save slots and choose whatever you want to do with it.
