How to get Sandile, Krokorok and Krookodile in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet?
In Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, only Sandile and krokorok are present in the open world. So to get Krookodile, players need to evolve Krokorok.
Sandile and Krokorok can be found in the Asado Desert, which is located in the west of the Paldea region. Asado Desert is also part of the main story so you won’t miss it.
Asado Desert is home to many pokemon like Diglett, Canea, Braviary, Sandile, etc. So how you will find Sandile in the vast desert you might ask?
To find and capture Sandile, a player must go to the western side of the desert and they will encounter them roaming around in the sand with only their eyes out. As mentioned in the Pokedex entry of sandile: “They live under hot desert sands in order to keep their body temperature from dropping”. This makes them difficult to see but the swimming movement in the sand makes them quite easy to discover.
Sandile is quite easy to capture as their level in wild is around 20. At level 20, Sandile wouldn’t give much of a battle to the trainers but if you still wanna make it weak before throwing your Pokeball, It is recommended to use Water, Grass, Ice, Fighting, Bug and Fairy-type moves against it because it is 2x weak to those moves.
Sandile evolves into Krokorok at level 29 and Krookodile at level 40. Krokorok can also be found in the Asado Desert running around but Krookodile is not found anywhere in the open world of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. Krookodile in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet can only be obtained by evolving Krokorok and by trading.
Sandile and Krokorok are quite weak to use but Krookodile is a very good final evolution which gives it a base stat total of 519 and can be useful in late-game battles.
That’s how you get sandile and krokorok in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. Krookodile can only be obtained after evolving Krokorok as it can not be found in the open world of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.
