To capture Pokemon on trees, you can target-lock on the Pokemon by pressing ZL on your Switch, then press ZR to toss a Pokeball at it. This will trigger the Pokemon and will start a fight. You can bring it down this way and capture it. Another way is to make Koraidon or Miraidon learn the Dash or Sprint move, then use it to knock down the Pokemon from the tree. You should make them bump into the tree for this to be effective.
