To evolve Tarountula, you need to catch it first. Luckily, they are not too hard to find, as you can capture one after you defeat Lechonk in your first Pokémon battle. You can also find Tarountula around Poco Path, and across the southern areas in Paldea. You can mostly find them hanging on trees, where you can press ZL to aim and ZR to toss a Pokeball at it. Once you catch a Tarountula, you have to level it up to level 15 to evolve it into Spidops. You can also stumble upon Spidops in the wild as well, and are also commonly found around Paldea. Both starter and its evolved forms are just Bug types but are quite low in stats to use throughout the game. Below is a breakdown of Tarountula and Spidops stats.
