New World’s latest DLC Rise of the Angry Earth now introduces mounts. These mounts are unlockable after getting the new DLC, and there are a handful of mounts you can claim for free. You can get the Wolf Mount after unlocking the Moonshadow the Horse. You need to own Moonshadow for a quest that involves getting the Dire Wolf. Once you get your horse mount, you would find several racing icons appear all over the map. Talk to Jochi to start the first of the racing quests called Hermit’s Trail. For the trail, you need to reach different checkpoints within the allotted time. After completing the trail, talk to Jochi to end the quest. You can now check your map to start other racing trails around the regions. 

Once you complete all the riding quests, you will be automatically led to The Great Cleave. You also need to be above level 45 at this point to get the wolf quest. Find a questgiver called Valencia Iznov in the southern section of The Great Cleave and talk to her about the wolf quest. Once the quest is active, you have to follow the quest marker and free some of the wolves trapped in a cage nearby. Once the wolves are free, talk to Valencia again to get the Bloodfeast wolf mount.
