New Armor System in Warzone 2.0 Explained

Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 is almost here as players will be able to play it in a few hours. The battle royale game is similar to its predecessors in many ways. There are a lot of weapons in the game and choosing the best one might get overwhelming, or you might be looking for a good loadout. In this guide, we will take you through the process of how the new armor system works in Warzone 2.0.

How Does the New Armor System Work in Warzone 2.0?

With the newly released installment of Call of Duty, there are a lot of things for players to look forward to. There is a new map called Al Mazrah where players will be battling it out for victory in this battle royale game.

There are several developments as well to keep things interesting, even though the base gameplay remains the same. One of the major changes has been made to the armor system, which works differently now. Players might be having some difficulty figuring out what’s up, which is why we have a guide for you.

In the new armor plate system, players will now have a Two-Plate Armor Vest by default. You will already have this equipped when you are dropped onto the Al Mazrah map. This acts as defense on top of your base health, and what’s more – there are two layers to it.

You will also be able to look for even more protection in the form of a Three-Plate Armor Vest if you need more protection. This will allow you to add one more armor plate and increase your defensive barrier. Note that you will be able to carry only up to three of these items in your inventory. However, you can hold more of them in your backpack slots and carry up to 15 of them if required.

When the base armor wears down, you can replace them with a new one, or use the Armor Box field upgrade to replenish the base armor. For the best armor sets in Warzone 2.0, you can check out our guide here: Best Armor Sets in God of War Ragnarok
