Kustomize System Detailed Breakdown

Kustomize System is back in Mortal Kombat 1 and players can now customize their selected characters. In the Kustomize section, players will first see the 4 options:

  1. Gear
  2. Palettes
  3. Taunts
  4. Finishers

Gear is the customisation of the weapons and players will be unlocking many new weapons skins in the game. This is where players can select any one of them to be equipped.

Palettes are the customisation which players can do to the remaining gear of the character other than the weapons. The customisation of clothes and the colour of the clothes can be changed here as well.

Taunts are the moves which the player’s Character performs during the battle or after the round can be changed. There will be 2 options here: the Stationary and Walkaways. Now players can choose which move their character will make after they win the round and this option is under the Walkaway option. The stationary are the moves are randomised and but players can choose the pool from which they will be randomised.

Finishers are the moves which characters can perform after players finish the round with a special combo like using Uppercut as the final move and holding the button will start the Brutality move. This menu helps players choose what brutality finisher they wanna perform.

NOTE: Players can unlock new Brutality finishers by playing and levelling Characters.

Without the necessary items, the Kustomize system is useless, so Here are all the ways players can unlock many gears and Kustomisable items in the game:

  1. Invasion Mode is one of the best ways to unlock more gear in the game (defeating enemies or opening chests)
  2. Shrines are another source for players to get gear but this has a random chance to give gear when players submit Koins to the Shrine
  3. The campaign can also give accessories and gear in the game so completing it is very good
  4. In-game stores will always have some gear and items in the stores so players can purchase them
  5. There are also seasonal items as well which only come once in a year or every other season.

That’s all you need to know about how the Kustomize System works and how to unlock more Kustomize items in Mortal Kombat 1. If you find this article helpful, you can check our website for more such guides on Mortal Kombat 1 and various other games.
